Onyx Engineering Company is headed by founder-proprietor Uday Chirde, who has over 18 years of experience in various industrial disciplines. His areas of expertise include, among others, supervision, mechanical draftsmanship, quality control, designing, project execution, procurement, recovery etc.

He heads a team of 21 colleagues, including qualified and well-trained engineers, technicians, project managers, supervisors and others. Onyx has a special team of 17 members for on-site commissioning and installations.

Uday Chirde began his career with DLM Enterprises in 1994 while studying in Pune’s St. Joseph Technical Institute for the mechanical draftsman certificate course. In 1995-96, he joined Patange Industries, a company making machining components for auto industries, as a workshop supervisor. Here, he looked after production and quality control.

From 1997 to 1999, he worked for SS Techno Services, a project oriented company manufacturing equipment for chemical industry. He handled designing and execution. Then he joined Protex Engineering Pvt. Ltd. which provided heating, ventilation and air conditioning solutions. While working here, the management noticed his capabilities and drive and deputed him on sites for project executions.

After that, he joined Transtech Projects Pvt. Ltd., a company that executed HVSD projects for pharma companies. Later, he joined Archivista Engineering Projects, a company delivering turnkey execution solutions. He worked here for five years as project manager, looking after design, procurement, electro-mechanical execution, recovery, invoicing etc. In 2009, Uday Chirde launched Onyx Engineering Company to meet the market need of integrated and quality services under one roof.

In a short span of 3 years, Uday Chirde has earned a reputation in the market for integrity, honest and transparent dealings and delivering value added quality work. Right from the beginning, he inculcated in his firm a culture of commitment to top quality work, value added services and fulfilling company’s social responsibilities.
